Charyn and Black Canyon / Lakes Kolsai and Kaindy

Express tour will be ideal if you only have one day

for a trip out of town, or you do not want to go overnight, but at the same time want

see as many beautiful places as possible. In this tour we have collected the most

popular tourist places in Almaty region: Kolsay lake, Kaindy lake, Charyn and Black canyon

Tour program

Departure from Almaty

Our driver will pick you up from the appointed address
at 6:00 and you will recover to Kolsai lake.
The length of the journey is 300 km, approximately 3.5 hours.

LAKE KOLSAY

From the parking lot you will go for a walk around the lake, the walking time is
(1.5 hours) You can walk along the left or right bank of the lake, go boating or horseback riding

SATY VILLAGE

After a walk on the lake, we descend to the village of Saty, where a delicious lunch is waiting for you in a cozy guest house.

LAKE KINDY

Distance 15 km. It's about 30-40 minutes
Upon arrival, the walk will start from the parking lot (1.5 hours)
You can climb the lake: on foot (3 km), on horseback (5000 tenge per person) or
taxi (500 tenge/person)
You can walk along the coast, and then climb to the observation deck,
to see the lake from above.

CHARYN

Then we head to the Charyn canyon.
On the way we stop at the Black Canyon. This location is for photos only.
There is no walking route and you can enjoy amazing
views from the highest point.
The length of the path is (100 km, approximately 1.5 hours)
Walking time - (about 1.5 hours),
Trekking (2.7 km one way) along the bottom of the canyon awaits you.
At the end of the gorge flows the river of the same name - Charyn. On the bank of the river
you can cool off in hot weather and take a lot of gorgeous photos.
If on the way back you do not want to walk, you can use
services of an eco-taxi that will take you to the beginning of the gorge (500 tenge / person)

ARRIVAL IN ALMATY

After walking through the Charyn canyon, you will head back to the city.
The length of the journey is (220 km, approximately 2.5 hours)
In the city of Almaty, the driver will leave you at the place you specified.
